Abstract
The present study deals with the geochemical and technical qualifications of the quartz deposits
of Wadi Mubarak area in the Eastern Desert of Egypt, as well as the beneficiation processes necessary
for upgrading these deposits to reach the qualification of high Purity quartz (HPQ) for use as a raw
materials in some high-tech industries.
