Development of advertisinginformational tools for creation of image of the Recreation Geography and Tourism Department
Abstract
The article is devoted to the author’s many years of experience in
creating and implementation of the original booklets and guide-books,
namely, a brief express-guide of KazGU Campus, guide book «Almaty
Tourist Guide» in English, a series of leaflets and booklets of the Department
of Recreation Geography and Tourism for applicants, students and
guests of the University, made in different designs. The article investigates
concept of the image, imaging. The general steps for creating of brochures,
booklets or guides, such as the stage of preliminary collection of information,
secondary data processing, processing, structuring and editing of the
collected data and materials, creating a layout using computer technology
and stage of final design development and layout are offered. Completed
in the creative design and thoughtful
content they represent the realization
of the creative process of learning and the development of tourist image
for the organization of tourist activities which are carried out at the Department
of Recreation Geography and Tourism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National
University in the framework of training for tourism and hospitality.
