Abstract

Tourism provides a unique opportunity to get deeper into and visualize the historical and cultural heritage of own country and other states, to realize the national self-awareness among young people, to cultivate respect and tolerance for the life and customs of other nationalities and peoples. The youth sports and health-improving tourism is one of the most effective health technologies that contribute to the formation of a healthy lifestyle for the individual and society as a whole, which has a great national importance in the upbringing of the younger generation. This article considers the organization of the children’s and youth tourism as the most perspective area of tourism in the East Kazakhstan region today. The market of children’s and youth tourism has been studied, the types of recreation that in the highest demand, have been identified. Also, a tourist route is proposed and a SWOT analysis of this market segment is made. At the same time, the problems of development of children’s and youth tourism in the East Kazakhstan region are investigated and ways of their solution are offered.
