The study of Terisbutak river level and ice regime

Abstract

There have been figured out the basic regularities and features of formation of small mountain rivers water levels and ice regime in Ile Alatau conditions. There have been analyzed the existing materials of long-term observations over the water level and ice regime of Terisbutak river. There have also been given the quantitative characteristics of the river water levels and ice regime fluctuating. The given characteristic of the main causes of high and low water levels emergence corresponds to both winter and summer periods. There have as well been studied the reasons and various ice buildups emergence periods, their intensity and the impact on water levels changes.
