Taking into account the development conditions of the city and districts, effective use of land resources in the urban area is carried out as a socio-economic system. Sustainable urban development — the city plan, transport hubs, water supply, sanitation, waste disposal, disaster risk prevention, the ability to obtain information, education and capacity building are all related to these issues. The foundations of sustainable development should be formulated on the principles of environmental safety and relevant scientific and technological principles that take into account the use of land in intensively developed territories.
Cardinal changes in the socio-economic life of the country require the development of new conceptual principles for the implementation of land management processes, taking into account the conditions of changing land ownership relations, the requirements for sustainable development and current trends in strengthening the role of regional, state authorities and management. As a rule, modern practice of land use is associated with the fact that the use of agricultural land shows a low level of efficiency.
Land and other natural resources are the lifeblood of the world's population. The right of access to these resources is more susceptible to climate change, natural disasters, various conflicts and other negative factors.
