Abstract

Geostatistic offers many advantages in understanding and modeling of site specific variations of the field soils through spatially predictions. The application of geostatistical method was investigated for estimation of the study variables, and then prediction maps were created by different geostatistical interpolation methods of krigings. For this aim, a study has been conducted on a strawberry field located in Erbaa, Tokat, Turkey. Eighty soil samples were systematically collected at 0–20 cm depth based on regular grid system. In the sample position, the distance on the X and Y directions was 5 x 5 m. Plant samples were also collected from the same plots. The soil and plant samples were prepared for some chemical analyses.
